Mangrove Snapper
The mangrove snapper is typically found in Florida and across the Gulf of Mexico. They are marine fish as adults, but juvenile mangrove snappers migrate into estuaries and Florida’s rivers until they reach maturity, which is a perfect time for us to catch them.
Snook
Snook are one of the most popular fish we catch inshore. Snook inhabit tidal estuaries and river mouths flowing into the ocean. Sound like Tampa and the surrounding waters…?
Red Fish (Red Drum)
Another popular fish, the Red Fish, are an extremely strong fish found in the back bays. You’ll know its a Red Fish by the spot on its tail. We regularly target these fish inshore.
Spotted Sea Trout
In order to complete an inshore slam, you have to catch a trout! Spotted Sea Trout are finicky fish that typically feed in the early morning hours.
Tarpon
Tarpon are large, hard fighting fish that are judged by many to be the world’s most exciting gamefish. These fish can grow as large as 8ft and in excess of 280lbs. We typically target them in May June and July.
Red Grouper
Red Grouper are typically found offshore in deeper waters. But we have the luxury of the Tampa Bay Fishing Channel, which holds great numbers of Red Grouper.
Gag Grouper
Gag Grouper are typically found offshore in deeper waters. But we have the luxury of the Tampa Bay Fishing Channel, which holds great numbers of Gag Grouper.
