Tampa Fishing doesnt get any better!

Published April 12th, 2010 by Capt Jason Prieto

Fishing in Tampa Bay has been consistant and the weather has been great. We are starting to see the Snook fishing pick up. The big push of white bait has moved into the bay and the fish are the first to follow. Redfishing continues to be good with the flooded tides. Live green backs and cut bait have been the key to getting the Reds to bite. Trout have also been a go to fish. Trout have been very plentiful as of late and has been the most consistant to target. Mackerel have also invaded Tampa Bay and showed up in great numbers. The technique is simple 40lb leader and a xxxl long shank hook with a frisky Green back. Ill see you out on the water! Tight Lines!
