Spring Fishing Is Right Around The Corner

Weather is still a bit cold and days are still short, but spring is just weeks away and now is the time to book. Spring is one of the best times of year to fish and this is the time of year that just about everything in the bay is biting. Snook are on the prowl and are stacked up in the and river mouths. Redfish are starting to show up on the shallow water areas and schooling up by the hundreds. Trout are plentiful and very easy to catch. This is a great fish to target if you are looking to catch fish on artificial baits. Mackerel are schooling up in the bay chasing bait pods around the markers and towers. Last but not least the Tarpon start to show up on the beaches in the early morning and in search of pass crabs in the passes along the beaches.
