Redfishing In Tampa Bay is in Full Swing!!!

Published September 13th, 2010 by Capt Jason Prieto

Well its that time of year and its business as usual. Redfish are schooled up on the flats by the hundred. We have been targeting the big schools on the top on the high tide and as the tide falls we are targeting the potholes and deeper flats. Bait varies depending on each spot, Shrimp, Greenbacks and cut bait all work. The New moon tides have been the best time of the month to catch them. We are also catching plenty of Trout on the deeper flats in the earl morning. A Greenback suspended under a popping cork on a 1/0 Daiichi Bleeding circle hook will be a deadly combo. Don’t delay, booking for the fall season call for special pricing. 813-727-9890 or captjasonp@aol.com
