December Fishing Report in Tampa Bay for Snook

Published December 30th, 2009 by Capt Jason Prieto

Well, cold fronts are stacked on top of each other, which is making fishing a little tough, but snook are still hanging around for a while. I think I'm going to start fishing for trout, redfish, sheepshead, and grouper. As the water temperature continues to drop, snook will push far up rivers to the springs in search of warmer water. Trout will be our main target for the next few weeks as they invade the grass flats in Tampa Bay!
